Designed by Alex Greig. This timbercrete block house, is near Kereru, Hawkes Bay.  The pond was part of the project and is used for storm water retention. In summer, it is used for swimming. The earth excavated on site, was used to make berms blocking the view from the northern road. The berms undulation embodies a more New Zealand landscape, on what was a flat section.

The Entry roof water drains down the chains to the old wine barrels.
